Who are you inside vs who are you to the world? When those two personas differ, it takes up so much energy switching back and forth that it is exhausting.
Two People
With non dominant hand, draw “inner self” on left side in one colour without lifting pen.
Beside it with dominant hand draw “self you are in the world” in different colour without lifting pen.
Note the similarities and contrasts. What does your drawing tell you? Are your eyes open so you can see or your mouth to speak your truth? Are your arms open? Closed? Non-existent? Wonky is good! Make notes.
With third colour create integration by drawing lines of connection while verbally acknowledging “I see, I hear, I feel, I sense, I say, I create, I stand on, I am here”.
Add dots, embellishments, accents.
