Values and Things That Matter
Value Statement
I believe we are co-creators with the Creator, equipped with infinite imagination, charged with creating relationships of harmony and healing within the mysteries of the Universe, and living with awe in creation. Come join me for the ride. I believe community emerges from respect, deep listening, openness, compassion, generosity, and a spirit of joy and fun.
In this light I declare publicly a commitment to love and serve others, seek justice, and celebrate the richness of all our gifts, even as it challenges me. I celebrate the wisdom inherent in each of us, regardless of whether we are 3 or 103, speak the same language, share different life experiences, or feel the pressures of social constructs designed to favour one over another.
I want to say explicitly:
· Black Lives Matter
· Love is Love
· I live on unceded Mi’kma’ki land
· Poverty is Inexcusable
· We all have Superpowers. Some are Disguised as Disabilities
· You are the Neighbour I Love
· Earth has Enough Gifts for All
· We are all Created Equally in
the Image of the Divine
I also want to apologize.
I want to acknowledge until recently I was unknowingly what Martin Luther King Jr. would have called a “well-intentioned White Moderate” (Letter from a Birmingham Jail) . I still am, though I am now questioning and beginning to unravel the complicated history of my privilege. I believe my work with Intentional Creativity® continues to inform me in making courageous choices, bringing a stronger alignment between my words and my actions.
My profound hope is to share my gifts with you in a spirit of curiosity, sustainability, wisdom, and love. If you perceive a barrier to creating something amazing together, please reach out. I will do my best to work with you to overcome what may separate us, with harmony and healing.
I look forward to witnessing and connecting with you.
Blessings,
Natalie
